The RemKon EdgeTM is a revolutionary new product offering from NASCENT Technology that combines within a single package: 12 dry/wet contact inputs, 4 relays, 12 digital 5V outputs, and a serial port that is software configurable as RS232 or RS485/422*. The RemKon EdgeTM offers flexibility in both physical placement and power source selection.

The RemKon EdgeTM comes in a rugged housing that is both wall and DIN rail mountable. The RemKon EdgeTM is also 802.3af compliant to draw DC power completely from a PoE source*. If an external DC power supply (10-30VDC) is provided via the screw terminals, it is given preference over PoE. In addition to the housing and flexible power features, all input, output, and relay connections are made via rugged "pluggable screw terminals" that make field upgrades extremely quick and easy. Network and serial connections are made via standard RJ45 (Ethernet) and DB9 (serial) connections.

In addition to the hardware package, NASCENT Technology offers a complete SDK with APIs for custom application development.
